Shipping policy

We ship orders throughout the UK, Channel Islands, and certain overseas countries (see below).
Your order will be despatched in 2 to 3 working days, this may vary at busier times of year. Parcels are normally sent by Royal Mail.

 

 

United Kingdom Orders

 

Below are the postage rates for the UK.

 

Orders over £100 are sent free within the UK by standard tracked Royal Mail Post.

 

Orders under £100 are sent via standard tracked Royal Mail post, postal charge £3.95.

Your order will be despatched in 2 to 3 working days, this may vary at busier times of year. Our working days are Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays. Please note that if you place an order after 9am on a Friday your order will be downloaded the following Monday and in that case Monday will be the first processing day.

 

You can select Priority Service for any order with a UK delivery address. Orders are despatched the same business day (Mon-Fri) for orders received before 9am and the next business day for orders received after 9am. Orders placed after 9am on Friday or on Saturday or Sunday will not be despatched until Monday. Parcels are sent by Royal Mail First Class Tracked Post.

 

 

Click and Collect Orders from our shop or at a quilt show.

If you arranging to visit our quilt shop near Stirling, you have an option to select 'Collect from Kaleidoscope' from the shipping methods when you check out. At the checkout page, please fill in your invoice address. When you have placed your order you will receive an e-mail confirmation of your order. When your order is ready to be collected you will  receive another email with a collection code. Once you have this collection code you can collect your order from our quilt shop between 10.30am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

 

If you arranging to visit a quilt show, you have an option to select 'Collect from Kaleidoscope at a particular show' from the shipping methods when you check out. When your order is ready to be collected you will receive another email with a collection code. Once you have this collection code you can collect your order from our stand at certain quilt shows. See list of Events.

European Union
Currently we cannot accept orders to any European Union countries.



Rest of the World

Guernsey, Jersey - Orders to the Channel Islands are normally sent via Royal Mail, larger or more valuable orders may be sent via Parcelforce.

Australia, Canada, Canary Islands, Iceland, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, Switzerland and USA.


The minimum postage charge is £10. Orders on the website are displayed in £ sterling and are inclusive of UK VAT. These orders will be VAT free. During checkout when the destination country has been selected the correct tax exclusive price to be paid will be displayed.

 

Customers will be liable for any import duties that may arise and you may receive an invoice by email for payment of duty, VAT relevant for your country and any disbursement fees. 

Fedex will invoice you for Duty, VAT relevant for your country and disbursement fees.

Rest of the World - the following countries ONLY each have a flat rate of £40 up to 5kgs. If it is a small parcel weighing under 5kgs, we may be able to refund some postage.
